Peoples Retirement Community provides options for our seniors for Independent living, Assisted Living, Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care & Respite Services.
Independent Living is just that, independent living. You enjoy the luxury of someone else doing the cooking and cleaning, but you continue to live your life as you choose. Your rent includes: 3 meals in our dining room, weekly housekeeping, activities and volunteer opportunities, transportation to and from local doctor appointments, outings as scheduled, etc.
Assisted Living is Independent living with additional services that is customized and unique to your needs and preferences. We provide options for care, but only as you want it. You develop this pre-agreed service plan with our team before you move in. The services may include some or all of the activities of daily living (ADL’s) such as bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, medications, etc. Because we recognize that each person is different, we will attempt to offer any service beyond the listed ADL’s to make this your home. This way you can get almost everything you want. Another benefit of this customized living arrangement is that you will only pay for what you use.
Dementia Care Peoples Retirement Community offers a 22 apartment secured Dementia unit (SCU=specialized care unit). It features a secure outdoor area, family style dining and individual assistance. We provide services through end of life as possible and end of life care can be coordinated through hospice services.
Respite Services Respite care is available at a rate of $100.00 per day. Your loved one will have a furnished apartment, 3 meals per day in our dining room, and access to participate in activities and outings, transportation to local doctor appointments per schedule, etc. An assessment by the nurse is required to ensure that your loved one receives all of the necessary services to make his/her stay comfortable.
